We offer self-defence seminars which are available for groups and mixed-gender participants. Additionally to these we offer Sunday classes exclusively designed for women, providing a supportive and empowering environment to build confidence, improve fitness, and learn practical self-defence skills.

What is Self-Defense?

Self-defense is the practice of learning techniques to protect oneself from physical harm. Our courses teach a variety of defensive skills, focusing on de-escalation, awareness, and physical techniques to neutralize potential threats. These skills are drawn from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and other martial arts, known for their effectiveness in real-world situations.

Women-Only Self-Defence & BJJ Fundamentals

These Sunday classes are designed exclusively for women, providing a supportive and empowering environment to build confidence, improve fitness, and learn practical self-defence skills. The sessions combine elements of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, and real-life self-defence techniques, helping participants feel stronger and safer in everyday situations.

Each class follows a structured format:

✅ Warm-up & Stretching – Preparing the body and preventing injuries.
✅ Muay Thai – Learning striking techniques for distance control and self-protection.
✅ Self-Defence & BJJ Basics – Practical techniques to escape, control, and defend against larger or stronger opponents.
✅ Cool-down & Stretching – Relaxing muscles and promoting recovery.

Many women hesitate to start martial arts due to the intimidating environment of mixed-gender classes.
